Sony obviously has something to offer since God of War 20th Anniversary didn’t deliver as how fans expected.
The God of War TV Series, which is now in production between PlayStation Productions and Amazon, will see more than just a single season in the PlayStation world. While appearing on Katie Sackhoff’s podcast, Ronald D. Moore, the showrunner and writer, disclosed that Amazon had already signed two seasons of the show.
Moore mentioned that I’m working on the adaptation of this video game called God of War, which Amazon has ordered for two seasons, and they asked me to come in. I’m literally in the writer’s room, and that’s my new thing. Following this, Moore said that, after a long hiatus from video games dating back to the 1980s, he is eager to get back into them.
He joked about dying because he was hesitant to press the R1 button, which is a sign that his time away from the medium is making it harder for him to experience them. The writing process wouldn’t go quite as quickly if Moore had to play the games personally to experience Kratos’ story.
After the success of the Fallout TV series, it’s intriguing to see that two seasons have been commissioned, which appears to imply that Amazon is confident in its video game-related ventures. There’s a real chance that the next God of War series will carry on that success.

After last year’s three leaders quit over creative differences, Ronald D. Moore stepped in to head the series. Along with Mission: Impossible, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and For All Mankind, he has worked on many more projects. My expectations are high because of what I’ve seen in For All Mankind. This has to be successful since the God of War series is among my all-time favorites.
Sony undoubtedly knows that God of War is a successful property since fans still want more games in the series and can’t wait for the next installment. Therefore, the performance must be flawless. Hopefully, things work out well because of Ronald D. Moore’s track record.
Sony obviously has something to offer since God of War 20th Anniversary didn’t deliver as how fans expected. We’re looking forward to what they have in store for us next, and there have been whispers of a possible summer showcase.
