If you recall, back in the year 2005 the iconic film ‘The Warriors’ was put into an adaptation of a video game. The game was developed by GTA’s Rockstar Games. The Warriors video game received critical acclaim. Roll back 15 years later and fans are now requesting for the legendary game to be remastered.
According to GamingBible’s Ewan Moore, fans are “campaigning for a next remake 15 years on”. He also said from one fan who said that “I can say with honesty that when times got tough, I used to love turning my PlayStation 2 on just so I would play The Warriors. This helped me leave the of having a bad father. The story mode never gets old too. With today’s technology I’d love to see the special moves and how they’d advance them.”
This would indeed be a marvellous idea for Rockstar to remaster this game. To bring back some nostalgia for many people, but would also serve to the rest who haven’t gotten the chance to play in the PlayStation 2 version. However, if Rockstar would agree to this, we would probably have to wait a pretty lengthy time for this to even be considered, seeing as they have GTA 6 in the works as well as producing more content for GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2 and so on.
