Capcom’s premium multiplayer shooter has released a new wave of information concerning Exoprimal’s open beta dates, battle pass plans, and Deluxe Edition content. Recently Exoprimal’s July 14th release date was leaked to the public and was confirmed as part of the Capcom spotlight event. The release date was just the beginning of Capcom’s announcement for the day. Although June may seem far off, Capcom seems set on letting fans try the game much sooner than anticipated.
The game sees players take on the role of Exofighters, battling it out in teams of five against hordes of mutant dinosaurs controlled by an artificial intelligence gone rogue. Besides facing off against the aforementioned mutated dinosaurs, players will also be able to face off against each other. It is, at its core, a live service game built around playing endlessly with its ever-increasing progression systems. A not-so-recent closed beta was done in July and August of 2022 intriguing players with Exoprimal. Fans have been waiting with bated breath regarding its previously teased open beta ever since.
Exoprimal has officially announced that players will be able to experience the game for themselves from March 17, with the open beta running until March 19. The beta will have new classes that were not showcased in the closed beta during the Exoprimal Capcom Spotlight trailer. With the game still, four months away from its release date, the beta opening in one-week fans are left feeling surprised and excited for what’s to come.
Exoprimal launches on July 14 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Steam for $59.99, and Xbox Game Pass will have access on day one of release.
