A great number of titles and expansions were announced at Paradox Interactive’s massive event.
Paradox Interactive, publishers behind some of the biggest and most renowned grand strategy games, had an event occur yesterday (March 6th) which contained numerous new announcements and reveals for the company.
3 games were announced including Colossal Order’s brand new title Cities Skylines II, a new and deeper dive into the famous city creation simulator which is said to include even more sumptuous details meaning this title will be the most realistic city sim ever. Cities Skylines II is releasing this year and you check out the announcement trailer below:
Another new title announced at this event was from Paradox Interactive’s own Harebrained Schemes. The Lamplighters League is a turn-based strategy title. In this alternate 1930’s players must engage a cult called the Banished Court that seeks world domination. The best of the best are all gone, so instead we must settle for the best of the worst, The Lamplighters League is coming this year and you can Wishlist it right now on Steam:
The next big announcement at this event was the first title from Rod Humble’s new studio at Paradox Interactive called Paradox Tectonic called Life By You. This new life-sim is in the same vain of The Sims which makes sense, considering Rod Humbles work on The Sims as a series. Strangely enough this teaser is for a teaser as on March 20th there will be another event doing a deep dive into this title.
After these three game announcements, Paradox Interactive were still not done. Crusader Kings III, the role-playing strategy game set during the middle ages also revealed the next major expansions Tours and Tournaments that will allow players to tour their Kingdom, host tournaments, royal weddings and other monumental events:
There is still more, as another expansion for Stellaris was also given a release date. Stellaris: First Contact which focuses on the ‘primitive’ races that players can encounter during their playthrough and adds new flavour and origins to the game. Stellaris: First Contact is available on March 14th:
Europa Universalis IV’s new expansion, Domination, was also announced with this new expansion providing new historical flavour to the game as you struggle to grip tightly to the reins of power before you.
Furthermore, an expansions to the game Surviving The Aftermath from Iceflake Studios called Rebirth allows players to take on new challenges and look forward to the next chapter in human history:
In addition to this, a title from Paradox Arc called Mechabellum was also announced, a new auto-battler where you command your own mechanised army and fight to the death which is coming May 11th:
Moreover, Paradox Arc also announced Knights of Pen and Paper 3, the most ‘epicest’ RPG which released today!
Finally Paradox Arc announced an expansion for Across the Obelisk called Wolf Wars which gives players access to new cosmetics and a new hero to join their ever-growing roster:
