ENDLESS Dungeon unveils a new support hero with questionable traits.
ENDLESS Dungeon is a tactical action rogue-lite game with aspects of tower defense within it. Assembling a squad of heroes and traversing through a dark and dangerous but also long-since abandoned space station, where dying means trying again.
The developers of Amplitude Studio makers of Humankind and the game’s publishers SEGA and HUBLOTS have revealed their fourth hero, SHROOM, in ENDLESS Dungeon; whether it be flowers, roots, or herbs, the ward’s media is a great hero to add to your squad for a great support class. While being introduced to the new support, she is seen in the reveal trailer approaching a dying Zed, viewed through her dying eyes as something terrifying, until the terrifying vision gives way to friendly-looking Shroom being, clumsy and all, but saving the crew with her incense. She is, with a few whiffs the squad’s fixer.
In ENDLESS Dungeon, Some of Shroom’s beliefs and some share this belief as well. A good team has at least one person who understands the language of the plants. With her prior services as an undertaker no longer needed. She gathers her herbal remedies, incense, and potions as miraculous panaceas.
Walking the line between apothecary and quack, Shroom does her best to keep the squad alive with any flowers, roots, herbs, and even leaves she can muster, although it leaves the gang to wonder how much she can heal given that she needs so much protection. Having learned her skills by embalming her fallen friends, what can her skills do for a living?
Starting with her first passive – Incense Breath – Increases the soul pool of slain monsters gathered in a room and works in conjunction with her special Soul Patch, which lets Shroom heal her allies by spending the gathered souls of monsters slain in the rooms. Not forgetting her ultimate – Special Blend – which increases health regeneration, prevents death among her allies, and increases defense as a last touch.
Shroom is a support with many aspects and potential your squad could benefit from, but also an endless amount of potential. Endless Dungeon is available for pre-purchase on Steam and Amplitude Store.
