Getting criticism from fans and the media Electronics Arts which published Madden NFL 21 extended its free upgrade. They also changed the game’s policy. Now Madden NFL 22 will be released in 2021’s summer when the promotion will be valid.
During an Inside Xbox episode that focused on Xbos Series X games, EA announced its offer. The company’s Smart Delivery initiative will be a sum of nine titles, revealed by Microsoft. This means any customers who buy the Xbox One version of the game will get a free upgrade. The upgrade will be the version of Xbox Series X. The customers now won’t have to buy the same game on both platforms.
The qualifiers muddled Microsoft’s simple program and confused the customers. The Xbox Series is to be released this season which would’ve left out customers who didn’t buy the next-gen console within its six months on the market. the publishers put constraints on the offer and forced customers to buy the game by Dec. 31, 2020. That’s why Ea took a different approach called “Dual Entitlement”.Whether the players on PlayStation 4 will get a free upgrade on PlayStation 5 is still remains a question.
EA planned to reveal Madden NFL 21 on Monday but held back from the ongoing protests against racism and police brutality.
FIFA 21 will set EA Play Live 2020 later this month and will work with a free Xbox Series X upgrade. It will be available until September 2021. Sony still has to announce its next-generation upgrade plan when it is needed. Xbox Series X’s “holiday 2020” launch knocks on the door and we can say Microsoft’s Smart Delivery will add more titles.
