Slaying Infected With Friends In Dying Light 2 Looks Almost Too Fun
In the final video of Dying Light 2’s YouTube series ‘Dying 2 Know’, we were able to see a whole bunch of new reveals. Techland have been hard at work on this project for years now and with each passing day the hype continues to grow.
The gameplay preview shows various shots of 4 survivors gallivanting their way across the city, viciously attacking and maiming much of the infected population with devastating dropkicks and huge maces. It all looks like fantastic fun. Plus, the two hosts, Jonah Scott (Voice of Protagonist Aiden Caldwell) and Leah Alexandra (Leahviathan on Twitter, YouTube and Twitch) confirmed that the full game can be played from start to finish in co-op.
This includes the major diverting campaign choices that Techland has raved about during the game’s development. It is mentioned that during these major decision points, all players can ‘vote on the choice that they wish to pursue, leaving the Host of the session to have the final say on the matter. This is similar to other RPGs that can be played in co-op, such as Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3, which shares similar features.
Beyond this, the video went to show off developer diaries and some sneak peeks behind the scenes of the game. There was a very wholesome moment where the developers were able to announce what they were most proud of while making the game, which is something that is always sorely needed when discussing video games and their development.
The Game is almost here and the excitement is unbearable, Dying Light 2 has had a strange few days, what with the recent misconstrued points in regards to the game’s length, it is far better to be simply discussing the game as a whole.
