This has been a crazy week, especially for Battlefield fans, as the reveal trailer has finally been released, and the release date has been confirmed to October 22nd, 2021. You might or might not have known that it has been confirmed that the gameplay of Battlefield will be showcased on E3 on the 13th. So, you guys would indeed be ready for the epic multiplayer. But what about the campaign or Battle Royale? Maybe there haven’t been many words on this because there won’t be a Campaign or Battle Royale.
The new Battlefield will be core multiplayer, which apparently will have 128 players. That is massive. According to GamingBible’s Ewan Moore, Battlefield 2042’s Daniel Berlin has explained why the game will be strictly multiplayer. He explains, “If you look at the DNA of the studio, what we have been doing for so long, we just said, you know what, we’re not going to have a traditional single-player campaign this time around; we’re going to put all that emphasis and all those resources into building depth into the multiplayer. Because that is what we do best.”.
Seriously, what do you guys think? Would you be OK with this? Or do you think you’d feel you’d be deprived? Think about that. But in the meantime, here’s Battlefield 2042’s reveal trailer if you haven’t seen it yet.
