Crytek announced that a Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be released for consoles and PC on this fall. It features the single-player remasters of Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3, in an optimized partnership with Saber Interactive.
It will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. These three Crysis games will be smoother on next-gen consoles. Crysis Remastered is available for these platforms now. The remaster of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 will be made available separately.
In addition to visual improvements, the first Crysis had high-quality textures up to 8k, HDR support, SSDO ( Screen Space Directional Occlusion), Global Illumination (SVOGI), new light settings, Screen Space Reflections, and Shadows. Finally, Crysis Remastered also featured ray-tracing on PCs with Nvidia RTX GPUs, and Xbox One.
