Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit’s new narrative trailer provides a closer look at the game’s hand-painted environment and funny dialogue from the Broken Sword-inspired adventure.
In spring 2022, Thunderful and Tag of Joy will release Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit on PC, bringing the popular mobile game to a new platform. The interesting adventure’s talented designers and artists will deliver a compelling mystery steeped in historical history, brain-teasing riddles, and distinctive characters in a gorgeous hand-painted recreation of Eastern Europe.
Introducing Milda, the game’s protagonist, in a new narrative trailer that goes into not just her compelling personal background but also the rich history of the devs’ home nation of Lithuania and its relevance to the European Union as a whole. Milda, who was born to Lithuanian-American parents, travels to her grandfather’s home nation of Lithuania for the first time shortly after the country regained its independence. Milda and her mother returned to America after spending the summer at her grandfather’s home, with her father staying for a little longer with the promise that he’d return shortly after. Despite this, he never did.
Milda’s Lithuanian ancestors had been forgotten until she received a tragic letter. It comprises a letter sent by Milda’s late grandpa to her. Milda has been given a memo stating that she is now the family’s secret keeper. Milda is drawn back to Lithuania by a tantalizing secret, which sets off an exciting investigation across Europe that will see you becoming embroiled in a hunt for a lost relic, delving into the lives of historical figures such as revered Lithuanian leader Vytautas the Great, and uncovering the murky past of the KGB’s covert activities during Soviet occupation.
