Have you ever dreamed of running your own village populated by cats? Now you can! With Catizens, from Bad Optics Games, one can run an entire village populated by a variety of adorable kitties. In this colony management sim, the weather won’t be the only thing you have to worry about. In addition to making sure it’s the right time for crops, each individual’s personality and/or mood will have to be observed to ensure things keep running efficiently.
Because each cat is unique, it’s important to note how each cat is made happy. This may be revealed through the issuance of a personal request by one or more of the cats. Some of these requests may be issued based on their relationship with other Catizens.
Personality traits and temperament, along with facial and physical features, give a fair amount of depth to the character creation side of things. Because of this, one must also be sure to build dwellings that each of their felines will be happy to live in.
Catizens will release to Steam on August 17th, 2022. For those who would like to give it a test run, there is a demo currently available on the Steam platform.
