Along with Call of Duty: Warzone’s gritty atmosphere, Urzikstan will provide a strong feeling to a forgotten urban battlefield.
Raven Software, the makers of Call of Duty’s battle royale spinoff, has announced a new map to be featured in the game with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Call of Duty: Warzone’s brand new playground is called Urzikstan and it pretty much resembles a dystopian urban battleground. Of course, the map is completely filtered from any citizen residing in it, therefore it is up to players’ actions on how to utilize everything provided in the map. From driving cars to settling on top of the buildings, your strategy will matter a lot.
The place is located next to the Republic of Adal, which previously included another map of the Warzone’s past. Urzikstan itself is located in the Western Asia region, and with the buildings and geography considered, it makes itself very apparent. Urzikstan has eleven points of interest that will host the majority of the battles, and thanks to Raven Software, a map of it has already been showcased on Call of Duty: Warzone’s Twitter account.
From towers to farmlands, suburbs to cities, Urzikstan is going to be your staple ground for the best moments for high-end, action-filled gunfights. The background of the Urzikstan is quite an interesting one, after the fall of the dictatorship in the country, instead of being emptied out, there are now new threats that need to be taken care of. Called Allegiance, they want to regain control of the place and, players need to stop them, it is the well-known formula of the Call of Duty series we all know and love.
The map itself is rather oval in shape, which will guide players to stay within the boundaries of the operation. It is not going to be an easy task to keep the oppressors though, so it is going to be another place for heated battles and endless chases. The map is planned to be shipped with the release of the upcoming beta release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which is on the 10th of October.
