Zombie Mode fans are in for a treat as the latest iteration of the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, will receive a brand-new open-world Zombie Mode.
Well, it would seem that the rumors are true; after much speculation, the ever-popular Zombie Mode will be making a return to the Call of Duty franchise, but this time, it’s bigger than ever before.
This time around, players will be dropped into a vast Open-World space, where they will need to fend off the undead legions that crave flesh and gore. While the inclusion of Zombie Mode is exciting, it is also a change of pace for the Modern Warfare games, which don’t usually include any zombies and instead come with Spec-Ops mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is turning out to be the powerhouse of the franchise. The game is the third entry into the rebooted Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sub-franchise and will continue the events that took place after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which was released in 2022.
This time around, our focus will be on Vladimir Makarov, who will be making his first debut in the rebooted series. He will play a pivotal role in the game’s story and will act as the catalyst who gets the game’s story going.
We have learned quite a lot about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, from its action-packed campaign to its multiplayer. However, probably one of the more exciting things revealed is none other than the Open-World Zombie Mode.
All of this was shown in a recently revealed trailer, which shows Task Force 141 fending off the undead. The Zombie-Mode will be continuing the Dark Aether Saga, which you may be familiar with from Call of Duty: Vanguard.
The return of Zombie Mode is definitely great news for fans of the series. We will have to wait and see how the Open-World Zombie Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be received, especially considering the lukewarm response from the last Zombie Mode.
