Some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players have found a rather glaringly obvious issue within the Embassy map.
Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have found a rather hilarious design flaw in one of the game’s many maps, Embassy. In the past, the Call of Duty franchise was known for giving players some rather impressive maps to play matches on. This, sadly, cannot be said about the franchise’s more modern titles, which have many flaws that fans are eager to point out.
The franchise has come a long way since 2003 when it began as a first-person WWII shooter, especially with its latest title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The game adds many old features from past Modern Warfare titles, including weapon types and some of the fan-favorite maps such as Dome and Shipment.
Despite all the content found within the game, many players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are still not satisfied. Many fans have pointed out that the game has many flaws, such as; map design, overpowered items, and missing iconic weaponry. While most players can work around these issues, there are, however, some issues that they cannot work around.
One of these issues is the rather humorous design flaw found within the Embassy map. In a video posted to Reddit by user shmooze1988, they point out that when you break a particular window found within the map, a toilet is revealed facing towards the window.
The reason why this would be an issue is that if the toilet is facing the window, there would be no privacy for the person using it. This silly mistake breaks the player’s immersion. Many others in the thread point out that this is one of many design choices found within Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that don’t make any sense.
The Call of Duty Games is known for hiding Easter eggs in their maps for players to find. Many have argued if this silly design flaw was intentional or not. Whatever the case, it has added some humor to the game. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
