The next Call of Duty title is reportedly going to be Modern Warfare III.
Yesterday, we had just gotten some Call of Duty Season 3 reloaded updates for Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0. You will be happy to read that the new patch has fixed a lot of the issues that Season 3 was having because the turnout wasn’t so great. You should also know that this will be week 1 of the Season 3 reloaded playlist and that the next updates will be on May 17 and May 24, so this is going to be a busy month.
Now we got that out of the way, let’s talk about what you really came to this article for. Yes, you read that correctly. It is reported that the upcoming Call of Duty title will be Modern Warfare III. This was said in a tweet by Twitter user ‘CharlieIntel’, who is an incredibly reliable source when it comes to Call of Duty. But this doesn’t make any sense. How is this possible? Didn’t we have MWII last year? Is Infinity Ward doing another game for the second year in a row? If not, then is it Treyarch? There are so many questions that need answers.
Well, according to CharlieIntel, the following were included in today’s leaks:
- Sledgehammer is leading the development of Call of Duty 2023.
- The name will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
- It will feature a campaign – which is the sequel to Modern Warfare II, Multiplayer, and Zombies Outbreak 2.0.
- Warzone will have the new map, Las Almas, that will launch on Dec 5, 2023.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare III will release on November 10, 2023, and the game’s reveal will happen on August’s Warzone event. So, it seems like another Call of Duty remake is on the way, and it’ll be of the 2011 and final sequel to the Modern Warfare franchise. This is a huge deal, and we cannot wait to see how this works out.
