New Closed Beta for Blood Bowl 3 is going to showcase the improvements made in the past few months.
Turn-based fantasy sports game Blood Bowl 3 enters into a new closed beta starting from today till Thursday, February 3, 2022. Before you get too excited to take part, this beta, however, is only accessible by those who had signed up for the beta testing back in June 2021.
Just like any other Bowl game, in Blood Bowl 3, players take control of a squad from one of the 12 playable races, each with its own set of traits, and use strategic placement to prevent your opponents from progressing. During the game, players dodge or cruelly remove everybody who comes in the way as they race to the goal line to score the game-winning touchdown.
Players can create their squad, recruit players, personalize their looks, badges, and gear, hire cheerleaders and a coach, and then compete in the Old Worlds most brutal contests. However, injuries are prevalent, and it’s more than probable that a few of your players will be brought off from the pitch in a body bag, thereby ending a once-promising career.
The new beta will allow the participants to check out all of the changes made to the game in the previous several months. Cyanide has listened to the community to provide a Blood Bowl experience that more closely meets fans expectations, with updates to the user interface, smoother gameplay, and other improvements based on user input. Users can play with the Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility, and Elven Union in tactical turn-based matches against the other gamers or the AI, much as in the previous beta. Finally, the Dwarfs, a new squad of bruisers, arrive to demonstrate their toughness on the field.
According to Cyanide, the studio behind the development of Blood Bowl 3 stated that the game will be more exciting, bloodier, and stunning than ever. The game will contain 12 teams, each with its arena and cheerleading, Campaign, and multiplayer modes. Blood Bowl 3 will be released in 2022 on the PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
