Apparently, Treyarch is going for a nostalgic approach for something in the upcoming Black Ops Gulf War.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War just keeps coming up with more news as the days go by. A few days ago, at that time, we thought we knew as much as we did on the new Call of Duty game. But now, there is more news that comes to light, and this is something that you all, or at the very least, most of you, will love.
According to the very reliable X account, ‘Modern Warfare III informer’, Black Ops Gulf War will feature remastered maps from previous Black Ops titles. It seems like Black Ops Gulf War is somewhat going the same route that last year’s Modern Warfare III went by, reintroducing all of the memorable maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 version to bring back the nostalgia. Only this time, Treyarch is apparently bringing maps from the entire Black Ops series.
That means you could be playing Domination in maps from maps from Black Ops 1. That would be something, wouldn’t it? What do you think about this? Do you want to revisit the maps that you loved, or do you want a fresh start with brand-new maps? Or do you want a mixture of both? Because Modern Warfare III isn’t really getting the best reception and is often viewed as an overpriced DLC. But we’d hope that isn’t the case with the Black Ops Gulf War.
On the flip side, the Black Ops Gulf War has been in development for almost half a decade, so we should expect some great deal of changes that come with the remastered maps for their apparent nostalgic approach. But we’d have to wait until June for the reveal, as it’s said that’s when the Black Ops Gulf War will be announced. Exciting times lie ahead for the new Call of Duty game.
