Xbox showcases all game modes of the upcoming Black Ops 6, and it looks brilliant.
Black Ops 6 has become the major talk of the town in the Call of Duty community, even before its announcement. But now the talk is bigger, and it has gotten to the point where a lot of players have moved past Modern Warfare III and are only thinking about and looking forward to the upcoming title, Black Ops 6, including ourselves. Even Call of Duty HQ has made what may be the cover of Black Ops 6 the start-up screen.
It’s fair to say that a Call of Duty game hasn’t gotten this much hype since the last game by Treyarch, Cold War. Now, with the arrival of the Xbox Showcase, Black Ops 6 was among the most anticipated games we’ve been waiting for, especially when it comes to multiplayer. This is mainly due to the gameplay we’d finally get to see, and now that we’ve seen it, we must say that we’re not disappointed by what was shown with incredible footage of campaign, multiplayer, and zombie modes.
The campaign will be a spy action thriller that’s based on the early 90s with a mind-blowing narrative as we are at the end of the Cold War, with the USA’s rise as a superpower. Black Ops 6’s multiplayer is said to have 16 maps at launch, featuring 12 6v6 maps and 4 strike maps that will be able to be played with 2v2 and 6v6 matches. For the Zombies, it looks like it’ll return with a traditional zombie crew.
It’s been confirmed that Black Ops 6 on Xbox and PC Game Pass as Day 1 releases, being the first ever Call of Duty game to feature on the service, and will get pre-order bonuses such as early access to its beta. The beta will be released at the same time for all platforms. Also, Game Pass members have the option to upgrade to the Vault version for $30. The release date will be on October 25, 2024, and you can pre-order right now.
Also, in case you’re wondering whether you intend on playing on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC, you should expect to have at least 300 GB file size to install if you intend on downloading with previous COD games, MWII and III, as well as Warzone. Black Ops 6 standalone would probably be around 120-150 GB, which isn’t too bad.
