Black Ops 6 will become the first Call of Duty game on Game Pass.

That might’ve had a better kick to it, but it’s been confirmed all around that it’ll be called Black Ops 6. How you think of it is up to you. You’re definitely here for another reason. For a while, it has been said that Black Ops 6 might end up on Xbox Game Pass. But now, it has been confirmed by WSJ (Wall Street Journal) that Black Ops 6 will indeed be on Xbox Game Pass on Day 1. This is indeed a huge moment for Xbox players. That means there is no longer having to spend retail price on Call of Duty titles. If you’ve been living in a cave, the reason for this is Microsoft’s iconic acquisition of Activision Blizzard a couple of years ago.
This means that any game from the publisher would be eligible for Xbox Game Pass, including any Call of Duty title like the upcoming Black Ops 6. This will be the first Call of Duty title to launch on Xbox Game Pass as Day 1. WSJ also reveals that Microsoft will announce this in the upcoming Xbox Showcase that will take place on June 9, 2024.
There’s really nothing said about whether Black Ops 6 will also be on PC Game Pass, but we should be hopeful, as there’s also been speculation on the game coming to that service.
