According to Amplitude Studios and Microsoft (August 17), Humankind, the so-called Civ killer, will be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC on day one.
According to Sega and Amplitude Studios, Humankind, a competitor to the famous strategy game Civilization, will be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC next week. The game will be available to anybody with an Xbox Game Pass on PC, making it much easier for gamers interested in seeing how it compares to the genre-defining Sid Meier classic to give it a try.
Don’t worry if you don’t want to play it through Game Pass; Humankind will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store starting August 17. Amplitude recently released all 60 civilizations accessible to play in Humankind, with selections spanning from Assyrians to Edo-Japanese, Aztecs, and Soviets. These civilizations are scattered throughout history, each with its own set of benefits, and players will be able to pick and choose which ones they want to add to their civilization throughout the period.
Humankind said last month that Denuvo technology will be dropped prior to release because “the way it was currently integrated was not good enough, and it’s not something we can repair before release.” Amplitude has also stated that the Mac version of Humankind would be released about one month after the PC version, as well as the addition of pollution and other modifications.
