tinyBuild announces the upcoming release of the highly anticipated action RPG Asterigos: Curse of The Stars.
Acme Gamestudio, an independent developer, has created a brand-new mythological realm. Mythical and legendary beasts wreak havoc on the human race in this realm. It’s a gorgeous new action RPG set in a high fantasy setting inspired by ancient Greece and Rome, developed by Acme Gamestudio and published by tinyBuild. It’s coming to PC and consoles this fall. Take a look at the Asterigos: Curse of the Stars gameplay trailer.
An action RPG influenced by “soul-like” RPGs, Asterigos allows players to roam the monster-infested City of Aphes with a lighter, more flexible approach to fighting. While fighting monsters, demons, and godlike entities, explore its streets, secret passages, and huge constructions. Explore its heights, descend into its sparkling crystal-lined depths, and immerse yourself in this exhilarating dream land.
Battle necessitates an abundance of variety. Each of Hilda’s weapon types has its unique combat style, which players will learn to master like the courageous young warrior Hilda. Swords and shields, dual blades, spears, hammers, and even magical staves and bracelets are all acceptable weapons. During battle, you may freely swap between two weapons that you have equipped. With so many enemies to fight, you’ll never run out of things to practice your talents on.
The cursed City of Aphes has a wide variety of monsters, as well as over twenty boss confrontations that will test your resolve before you can uncover its mysteries. Investigate side missions, lost papers, and Hilda’s own journal entries to learn more about the curse.
Asterigos is an excellent example of what can be achieved with the Unreal 4 engine by independent developers, thanks to its stunning graphics, dramatic animation, and breathtaking landscapes. Taiwanese firm Acme Gamestudio developed the game.
