The Last Chapter of Eivor’s story in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has dropped early alongside a bunch of bug fixes and more.
It seems as though Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla refuses to stay out of the spotlight as of this moment. While the title is soon to be removed from the PlayStation store, it seems that the games’ Last Chapter which was intended to be released December 6th has instead, released a week earlier.
The final piece of content being added to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla contains the end of Eivor’s story alongside a bunch of bug fixes and other side content. Why this final chapter has been released early by Ubisoft is unknown with Ubisoft only stating that it was due to a ‘glitch in the animus’.
It is also interesting to note that this statement also highlights that there will be ‘additional surprises’ that will come before the end of 2022. Now here is the question… What else is coming in the final chapter of Eivor’s story? We already know that the final story piece which will have Eivor encounter old friends, foes etc in the conclusion of their story. We also know that an option to keep Eivor’s hood up permanently has been added while a new game+ mode is not coming.
In addition to this players will be able to claim a free premium item on the animus store every week. Players must load their saved games to enter and then claim a randomised piece of premium content from the in-game store with an exception to ‘licenced content’. The offer will reset every Tuesday at 14:00 UTC, and you will need to load a save file to redeem it.
There are many more details being added in ‘The Last Chapter’ and you can check out all of the big fixes, additional content and more in the full patch notes. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s last chapter is able to be installed right now. In terms of the updates size it is:
