Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla was Launched on rival services such as the Epic Games Store when it was released in 2020.
After all this time, more Ubisoft games are finally making their long-awaited debutSteamteam. Famous titles, such as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Anno 1800, and Roller Champions, are all coming on the Steamteam on December 6th of this year. This news comes from Eurogamer, where a Ubisoft representative stated:
“We’re constantly evaluating how to bring our games to different audiences wherever they are, while providing a consistent player ecosystem through Ubisoft Connect. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Anno 1800 and Roller Champions are among the Ubisoft titles that will be releasingSteamteam.”
Ubisoft had halted the release of their titles. Steamteam intends to release them more similarly to EA, launch them on their own PC service, and then partner with the Epic Games Store in 2019. Since then, many, if not all, of the most recent Ubisoft releases have not even been able to use Steamteam.
Considering this, it is entirely possible that following the December 6th 6th drop, more titles will join the three mentioned here. The release of Assassin’s Creed: ValhallaSteamteam is clever, considering the fact that its Last Chapter is set for release in December as well.
