In theory, Grande might entice individuals who wouldn’t normally play Fortnite to do so, even if just a small percentage of them remain around after the “7 Rings” singer has left.
Epic Games’ star-studded Fortnite concerts are set to continue. The game maker has announced a “Rift Tour” concert series, which will be headlined by pop singer Ariana Grande. To get in, you won’t need seven rings. The Rift Tour playlist will be available 30 minutes before the start of the show. That’s why, Concertgoers are advised to arrive early, according to the game’s creator (an hour before the show).
It should come as no surprise that there will be cosmetics with a theme. On August 4th at 8 p.m. Eastern, both will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop, and show participants will get an umbrella hovercraft. To play as Ariana Grande, you can get an Ariana Grande costume, and Piggy Smallz Back Bling adds a charming touch while you take out your battle royale opponents. This is as much about bringing newbies to the game as it is about encouraging players to come back, as it is with J Balvin, Travis Scott, and other Fortnite artists. It’s also worth noting that Epic is expanding its roster to include female musicians.
The first program will air on August 6th at 6 p.m. Eastern, with additional shows on August 7th and 8th to accommodate viewers in other time zones.
