QUAKE, the latest Breaker of the Roguelike action-shooter ANVIL: Vault Breakers gets announced this Tuesday as part of the game’s February update.
Action Square, developer and publisher of ANVIL: Vault Breakers has introduced the game on GamePass and as an Early Access title on Steam during December last year. This February, they are introducing their first new character, known as Breaker, in the next update on Wednesday along with some other updates. When Action Square unveiled the ANVIL roadmap, they released a new video for Quake.
It was revealed by Action Square that all gamers would be allowed to check out Quake before the game’s official release date in March. During this time, the creators hoped to gather as much input as possible to improve the game’s balance and visuals.
When it comes to fighting, the fighter-type Breaker known as “Quake” harnesses specific spiral energy from drills. Quake’s Spiral Punch may be used to tie adversaries in a Spiral Field. To avoid opponent strikes and do immense damage, he may also use Tremor to dig into the earth.
“We collected a lot of player feedback and decided to show Quake in advance with the Feb. update,” said Wonho Son, head producer of ANVIL. “We have many updates planned and many different contents on the way, so I hope players look forward to our progress.”
Since ANVIL’s Early Access introduction in December, Quake has been the only new Breaker. Action Square stated that gamers may participate in a discord event by certifying that they have played Quake up to March 8th, with the release of Quake. Crons, the game’s in-game money, will be awarded to the winners. With these Crons, they may make purchases in the game.
In addition to Quake, gamers may preview the future “Journey” mode, which will be introduced to the game next month. During this time, the number of Vault Points earned will be doubled until the March Season update, allowing players to collect all of the Season Pass goodies.
In ANVIL: Vault Breakers, players take charge of fictional characters titled Breakers to engage in combat with alien invaders and creatures in a real-time multiplayer setting. There are rumored Vaults full of the vestiges of an extraterrestrial civilization, and the Breakers must work together to find them. Players’ survival and combat skills are boosted thanks to the technology and energy discovered there.
