In Afterwave: Downfall, you can take the fight to the aliens. How will you fare against the invading forces hellbent on your destruction?
From the minds of 7 Raven Studios, comes a story of the battle against extra-terrestrials. Afterwave: Downfall pits you against a malevolent extraterrestrial race known as the Deathrix. But don’t worry, because you have the choice not to do it alone. Whether or not your combined skills can stop them, however, is an entire matter on its own.
Offering something most recent titles don’t have, this one allows players the luxury of local co-op gameplay. In addition to having friends along for the ride, enjoy the cartoon-style animation that accompanies the intense aquatic battles. And if that last run felt too easy, increase the difficulty and give yourself an even bigger challenge. But don’t forget to upgrade your ship if you want to increase your chances of survival.
There’s also no need to stick with your starting ship either. The title offers players six different choices of ships, offering the players a handful of different play styles.
Pre-orders are now available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One. August 3rd will see the full release onto Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The title will release to the Nintendo Switch on August 4th, and on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on August 5th. PlayStation will not have pre-order availability.
