Almost three years after Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was launched on Xbox One, Ninja Theory has introduced an Xbox Series X/S optimization patch for the game.
On your next play, you can make use of DirectX ray-tracing. While a PC upgrade is also in the process, a PlayStation 5 performance fix is not currently planned. With this version, Ray Tracing and a chapter choice screen have been added. There is now a chapter choice option in Ninja Theory’s game, the company reports.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, which will be exclusive to Xbox and PC, will be released once the patch is released. Originally released on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2017, the Xbox One version arrived in March 2018. Xbox Game Studios in 2018 added Ninja Theory by Microsoft to its portfolio. The resolution mode supports up to 4K dynamic visuals on Series X at 60 frames per second, and up to 1440p at 30 frames per second on Series S.
The enriched mode enables ray-tracing on both consoles at 30 frames per second, with a dynamic resolution of up to 4K on Series X and full HD at 60 frames per second on Series S. Microsoft has promised updates on certain Xbox Game Studios games during its Gamescom convention later this month, so we could learn more then.
The sequel’s release date has yet to be determined.
