Here's how to get and use the Baking Oven in Outbound.
The Baking Oven unlocks at one of the Signal Towers scattered across the map in Outbound. Crafting one requires Everwood Planks, rocks, and a bit of grain to get started.
Once placed, opening the oven shows a list of recipes ready to cook. Bread is the simplest option early on in Outbound, made from just Grain and Water.

Gathering Water
Water can be picked up from Water Wells near rivers and lake banks in Outbound, with each giving five water per collection. It also shows up inside points of interest like farms and houses scattered around the map.
Gathering Grain
Grain comes from farming wheat found around farm plots. A Sickle, unlocked at a Signal Tower, is needed to harvest it properly.
With both grain and water gathered, the actual cooking process is simple. Approach the Baking Oven, select the recipe, and press it once for a single batch or twice to queue up two.

Cooking and Eating
Turning the oven on starts the baking process automatically. Once it finishes, opening the oven lets the bread get pulled straight out and eaten. Bread restores noticeably more nutrition than basic forage like berries, making it a solid step up once the process is set up in Outbound.
