The Reduvia is one of the best early game weapons in Elden Ring with it’s substantial blood loss and impressively quick combos.
Daggers are a very under-represented weapon in Elden Ring. This is mostly due to the fact that out of every weapon type within the game, the dagger suffers from a very big weakness, that weakness obviously being that the weapons have a very short reach that makes these weapons suffer in comparison to longer reaching weapons like the Treespear.
FromSoftware no doubt know about this weapon types weakness, which is why they created; Reduvia. Reduvia is an arcane scaling weapon with a vast array of glorious potential.
Now of course, the question is… where to find this fantastic weapon?
Starting from the Agheel Lake South lost grace site, players have many options ahead of them. If they want to head to the Reduvia site they may, however, should players want to quickly cover one NPC who will assist them in the coming fight they may head to this location.
Players can talk to Yura, Hunter of the Bloody Fingers found in a crumbling ruin. He doesn’t have lots of dialogue, but if you don’t want to miss anything, best start by talking to him.
Once you’ve exhausted his dialogue, best thing to do is to now head north, entering the water before you. You are heading towards the long river chasm north of the grace site and Yura.
Once you have made it this far into the canyon, you will be forved to dismount your horse, do not be too intimidated, this is meant to happen as you will be invaded by Bloody Finger Nerijus.
Depending on your level this could either be the easiest or most difficult fight. Beware of his ranged attacks using the dagger and beyond that ensure that you survive for just a little bit longer, as in the middle of the fight, Yura will spawn in and help you.
If you are a lower level, let Yura tank the damage from Nerijus whilst you pepper them with various attacks, eventually you will whittle down the Bloody Fingers health. When Nerijus eventually falls, well done, you now have Reduvia in your possession.
The weapon is one of the better early game weapons, particularly for arcane blood loss builds.
Reduvia has very minimal requirements that could be attained by almost any build moments after they had left the first step. If you chose Bandit as your standard class, you will be able to use the Reduvia immediately without any real point investment. The weapon has decent blood loss build up and once upgraded can be a weapon that will carry you well into the mid-game until it eventually finds itself bettered by other arcane weapons.
